Hotkeys


There are various hotkeys you should know of when in Domain View (your city view) and Battle mode (when you’re in quests), so here’s a list for you.

Domain View

a: Unit Management Screen

b: Build Mode

c: Pigeon Roost

d: Destroy building (when it’s selected)

e: Espionage

g: Guild creation

i: Item shop

m: Market

p: Peasant management

q: Quest map

s: Stronghold

t: Temple

u: University

w: War screen

k: Keep

 

Battle Mode

a: Aggressive unit formation

c: Charge unit (makes unit run)

h: Halt unit (stops action)

l: Loose unit formation (ranged formation)

n: Normal unit formation

s: Use unit’s Special ability

t: Tight unit formation (melee formation)

ESC: Deselect unit

F5: Centre camera on selected unit

Shift: Select additional units into group

(0-9): Select unit saved in hotkeys

Ctrl+(0-9): Set unit to hotkeys

Spacebar: Toggle active and reserve unit menu

Delete/Del: Retreat selected unit(s)

Ctrl+A: Select all active units

 

General Hotkeys (available in domain and battle mode)

Enter: Chat mode

/t, /2 or /trade: Trade chat

/1 or /general: General chat

/g or /guild: Guild chat

/w [nation name]: Personal message a player (personal message also known as PM)

/r: Personal message last player who PMd you/last player you PMd

/conflict or /3: Conflict chat

/battle: Battle chat

/who guild: See who's online in your guild

/who [nation name]: Display nation information

F10: Main menu

Arrow Keys: Move camera view

Ctrl+Arrow Keys: Rotate camera view

Battle Formations

There are various battle formations you will notice, here’s some brief information on them.

Normal: No change

Melee (tight) formation: +25% DR vs. Melee, -25% DR vs. Ranged, -35% Move Speed

Ranged (loose) formation: +25% DR vs. Ranged, -25% DR vs. Melee, +25% Move Speed

Aggressive formation: +50% AR, -25% DR (for both melee and ranged)

Some information on abbreviations…

AR: Attack Rating (the higher it is the more likely you are to hit the target)

DR: Defense Rating (the higher it is the less likely you are to be hit)

Move speed: The rate your unit moves

Morale: If this drops to 0, your units run away like frightened kittens

Stamina: If this drops to 0, your units move speed is decreased
