Trial Accounts

When you first join SAGA, your account will be a trial account. If you talk in chat in-game, you will notice (trial) by your name. Don’t worry, your trial account never expires. You may be thinking “What is it?” “Why is it there?” “How do I get rid of it?”, well, I’ll answer those questions for you on this page.

When you first make your account, you gain 3 free booster packs (saving you $9 already!), which can be redeemed once a day to give you 10 new troops and spells per booster. Trial accounts have certain features locked out so people don’t abuse the free booster system. Let’s take a look at what trials can and can’t do.

  • Trial accounts can’t use market but can view it
  • Trial accounts can send and receive mail, but can’t add attachments though they can receive attachments
  • Trial accounts can’t host PvP battles (player versus player), but can do scrimmages
  • Trial accounts can’t create or join guilds
  • Trail accounts can buy units from www.SagaUnits.com and receive them

So how do you get rid of the trial status? You can purchase the registered account for only $19.95 (that’s £10.50 and around 15 euros) by going onto SAGA’s website (www.playsaga.com), logging into the website and choosing “Saga Store”. Next, you will see “Account Status: UNREGISTERED” and a “Register” button beside it, click on that and follow the instructions.

Any other MMORPG with this much entailed would have a monthly fee, whereas SAGA doesn’t. The fact that purchasing the game is optional is a reason in itself to purchase it. People have played for free and been very successful– but it’s a long and hard journey, one that would be better if you could trade, mail your new friends and join a guild– who would gladly help you with tough quests, battles and PvP you for fun.

SAGA isn’t only an MMORTS, not only a game, it’s a new community of fantastic, friendly, helpful people who all have their own problems and issues as I’m sure you do. They’re great people to make friends with, chat and laugh with, they really help you forget the troubles of real life and relax, even for a little while. I’d pay any price to have such a wonderful time.
